Founder Hwang Kyu-gwan, driven by a passion for research and development, established Daehan Heavy Industries in 1997. Since his student years, Hwang has been deeply interested in machinery, earning numerous patents and certifications from design to production. This dedication and enthusiasm for innovation have propelled Daehan to become South Korea's largest grapple manufacturer.

Daehan Heavy Industries is fully focused on grapple manufacturing. The company embodies an "Ichigeki Issho" spirit—relentless dedication and craftsmanship. With over 20 years of continuous refinement, Daehan’s grapples have gained widespread acclaim from users. Recognized by the Construction Equipment Safety Research Institute as an excellent manufacturer and acknowledged as one of South Korea’s top companies, Daehan has established a solid foundation in production and manufacturing expertise.

In 2007, Daehan expanded operations to Daejeon’s Techno Valley, a hub for heavy industries in South Korea. Ten years later, to meet rising product demand and increasing shipment volumes, Daehan built a new factory and relocated. By 2020, the company was producing over 600 grapples per month, and growth remains strong.

Hongsan Construction Machinery became Daehan’s official distributor in Taiwan in 2014, providing customers with high-quality rotating grapples, bucket clamps, and fork clamps. Hongsan’s skilled technicians offer electric-controlled handles for easy operation, replacing foot pedals and reducing operator fatigue. With their stability, durability, and ease of use, Daehan’s rotating grapples have become highly praised in Taiwan.
